Moray Local Action Group funding enabled Earthtime to facilitate twelve free woodland-based learning sessions for home schooled children and their parents.
Each session was led by two Earthtime staff who were experienced in outdoor education. With the sessions focused on exploratory play, activities included den building, bug hunting, identifying forest creatures and different craft activities such as Easter bunny decorations, sunflower seed planting, and making stick wands. Snacks and refreshments were also provided.
In total the sessions saw over 230 home schooled children and their parents attending, averaging 20 people across each session.
