2022-23 Projects
Building on the learning of the LEADER programme.
The Moray Local Action Fund 2022-2023 supported communities in Moray through a Scottish Government grant for community led local development.
This funding programme drew on the work, achievements and learning of the Moray LEADER Programme 2014-2021 and of the Moray Rural Communities Testing Change programmes 2021/2022.
It supported community-led activity that focused on one or more of three key themes:
Covid Recovery – Projects supported through this theme aimed at a just and green renewal of Moray’s economy and communities following the challenges experienced as a result of the global pandemic.
Net Zero and the Climate Emergency – Projects supported through this theme supported projects building on the Rural Living in a Carbon Neutral Moray (Carbon Neutral Communities) programme on imagining, communicating, and moving towards a carbon-neutral future.
Rural Poverty – Projects supported through this theme aimed to tackle rural poverty in Moray, particularly those with a specific focus on addressing fuel poverty.
