Walk to School

Moray Local Action Group supported Earthtime for All to run a Walk to School scheme in Hopeman.

Children walked from a designated drop off point and walked to school with Earthtime along a variety of routes, noticing and appreciating nature along the way while benefitting from the physical exercise and social element.

The scheme meant that parents and carers were able to work or volunteer for longer hours in the morning knowing that their children were being cared for in the community before attending school, and therefore benefit financially.
