Feasibility Study

Findhorn Bay Arts were awarded funding to look at the future of their shop of Forres High Street, and explore the ways that food, culture and creativity connect in Moray.

To support their activities and programmes and the local community during the Covid-19 pandemic, Findhorn Bay Arts operated a pilot pop up shop and hub at the heart of the Forres community.

The shop provided a flexible space which worked as a produce market, a creative studio, place for conversation, smaller gatherings and much more.

In February 2023, with funding provided by Moray Local Action Group, FBA commissioned an independent study into the future for the shop and hub, which included public conversations, one-to-one interviews and analysis of the shop sales and provided suggestions for development.
