Hillhead Farm Experience Breaks

The Scottish Goat Meat Company received funding for hands-on farm experience with the opportunity to stay in a luxury glamping pod at Hillhead Farm, Glen of Newmill, Keith.

The pods were marketed as a farm stay, where guests will have the option to visit and learn about the livestock and the running of the farm, get their hands dirty and help with the work on the farm. The project enabled the farm to be opened up to the public to offer learning for children to understand where produce comes from. Local people also had the opportunity to come and have the same experience on their doorstep without having to pay extra to stay on the farm.
