Solar Panels and LED Lighting

Moray Local Action Group funding enabled Moray Archery to move towards a more sustainable and economical energy supply.

With the funding Moray Archery:

• installed 10 solar panels onto the roof of our archery shelter which is connected to an inverter and 9.5kWh battery.

• changed all the 5ft halogen flood lights to equivalent LED lights.

• changed all anti-corrosive double florescent tubes with 5ft weatherproof LED battens.

• installed two electrical boxes either side of the shooting line so we can provide power to judges tents when we host competitions.
