Upgraded windows and doors

Portgordon Community Trust upgraded windows and doors at their community hall to make them more accessible and environmentally friendly.

The trust installed triple glazing windows into the building and replaced the doors with accessible doors and signage.

This has made a significant difference to the noise levels, reduced heat loss and allows full accessibility. The trust have seen an increase in usage of the space by local folks with mobility aids. We are also able to secure the building and clean the windows from the inside, meeting health and safety requirements and accessibility for cleaning. By using local trades, this supported community wealth building, keeping investment and employment local.
