Save Shopmobility Moray!

Shopmobility Moray were awarded essential funding for their service for people with mobility issues in Moray.

Shopmobility Moray provide alleviate the needs of people with mobility difficulties. They provide a loan service of wheelchairs (manual or powered) and electric scooters enabling independent access to the shops and town facilities. The service is available to anyone who needs it, whether they have a short or long-term disability or are elderly and frail.

The funding from Moray Local Action Group ensured that Shopmobility Moray continued to provide an invaluable service to its current members, local communities and others who may need support in the future.

Shopmobility Moray can now continue to bring a better quality of life to people with mobility issues across the region, helping them to get out and about into the community again, avoiding social isolation and improving their mental and physical wellbeing.
