Building Skills Workshops

Transition Town Forres used Moray Local Action Group funding to put on on 'Building Skills Workshops' for young people in Forres and the wider area.

The workshops were aimed at young people aged 16-25 who would benefit from hands-on, skill-development in an informal learning environment. Workshops were run by professional craftspeople with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in areas such as wood-working, stone masonry, lathe operating, welding and metalwork, and the use of traditional tools and techniques.
